Go to Play and choose auto to automatically scroll through images accompanied by sound. Slide the green button to change the setting.■TARGET DIALOGUE Study the Target Dialogue using the adjustable playback speed.■SHORT DIALOGUE(S) Study the Short Dialogue(s) using the adjustable playback speed.■ADDITIONAL STUDIES This segment includes additional and important materials not covered in the Word Power, Target Dialogue, and Short Dialogue(s) segments. ■QUIZ Take the Quiz on what you have learned. A useful adjunct to the book, and it's certainly worth the money and will help in committing the vocabulary to long term memory. However, it can be quite laggy at times - I suspect around the playing of audio and/or saving the "memorised" status. I run a Motorola E6, so I don't think it's my phone. The quizzes are good, but could be better.
This is an excellent supplement to the JBP book. It enables you to practice anywhere, on the bus for example. Its one fault is that there is no way that I can find to exit the app except by switching off your phone.
The freezing of the screen makes this app unusable. Really disappointing as the textbook is fantastic and would be great to be able to practise vocab etc on the go
I agree with Rob, especially, and somewhat with Kelvin. The screen/app freezes often, which is most annoying. I find the need to back out of the app entirely, then restart. The LIGHT ("free") version was much more responsive. I would say "Nice try, AJALT" but your $2.99 product needs serious de-bugging! Would you let us reviewers know when you have made all the fixes? Then you can send us the new version at no cost. ARIGATO.
Some content needs adding eg lesson 1 there are extra words like yes hai and no iie. I found the pay full version only after installing lite version but there was no easy link to upgrade
It becomes unresponsive then lags...and then catches up and becomes cyclical when speaking....has become unusable. Deleted. Thought it would accompany the book well, but alas, it just doesn't work. Please fix.
